Thank you for your interest in our practice. This website was created to provide information about our medical services and office procedures. Communicating with our patients is a priority with our physicians and staff.
We encourage you to call us whenever you have questions. It is our goal to provide you with the best medical care and patient service at all times.
Pulmonary Associates began serving the community in 1966. It is one of the largest pulmonary physician groups in the nation. Our 13 board-certified physicians specialize in diseases of the chest, critical care medicine and sleep disorders medicine. Our doctors are assisted by dedicated and caring nurses, medical assistants, receptionists, appointment schedulers and insurance specialists.
Pulmonary Associates' physicians provide expert diagnosis and treatment of all diseases of the lung including:
We created the first pulmonary critical care unit in Arizona and continue to be actively involved with the care of hospitalized and critically ill patients at a number of Valley hospitals.
Members of our physician group are also experts in the growing field of sleep disorders medicine. They are involved in all facets of this field including:
Pulmonary Associates developed Arizona's first sleep disorders center and currently directs centers at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Thunderbird Samaritan Medical Center. The centers are two of only five in the state accredited by the American Sleep Disorders Association. The Samaritan Sleep Disorders program is the largest and most comprehensive in Arizona.
Members of Pulmonary Associates are actively involved in research and testing. A number of our physicians are on the clinical faculty at the University of Arizona and all participate in teaching residents and fellows in pulmonary medicine. We have an active clinical research program within the office to allow patients the opportunity to try promising new therapies for treatment of respiratory disease. These studies are carried out under our close medical supervision and provided at no cost to participants. Results from our ongoing research are frequently published in medical journals and presented at national and international medical conferences.
